According to Eric's calculations, we'll be meeting our boys in approximately 87 hours! We travel in 2 days! Are we completely packed? Almost. Is the house ready? Close. Are all the bills paid, paperwork done? Soon. Completely childproofed? Nearly. Painting done? Never! As you may have guessed, I'm a procrastinator! But don't worry, it'll all get done before we drive away for Portland on Tuesday morning!
Eric and my mom are both working most of the day tomorrow, , so I'll be doing the last minute stuff (see list above!). Have I mentioned lately how fortunate we are to have my mom accompanying us on this adventure?! Having one adult per child while traveling is one advantage, but sharing this once in a lifetime experience with her is just so special! We are also getting tons of support from family at home; my dad is hosting our "baby boy" of the past 7 years, furry friend Henry. My sister and next door neighbor are tag-teaming the kitties, and a ridiculous number of others will be checking in on everything else! Okay, off to bed-
