WE HAVE GUARDIANSHIP!!!
We just found out our guardianship hearing happend as planned - Eric and I were granted "guardianship" of our three boys last Friday, July 4th, 2008!!! This is very good news! We'll drive down to Portland to meet with our social worker this Thursday to go over travel plans, paperwork, etc. and should travel within a few weeks. Now, all we are waiting for is the "official document" to be drafted and FedExed, passorts to be issued (for the boys) and plane tickets purchased/hotel reservations, etc. Yeah!

Congrats on Guardianship for your sons! Soon you'll be traveling and bringing them home. Time will go fast, so start packing now:)
I learned about your blog through a friend, and am excited to follow your story. We brought our son home from Mumbai when he was 14 months old. He'll be 3 in September, and has brought so much joy to our lives. Very soon you will be experiencing that same joy multiplied by three!
Oh Melissa, how wonderful. I am thrilled for you and Eric to have this long awaited dream become reality. What must the boys be thinking? Whatever their dream, it can't be as fantastic as what you have prepared for them.
