The "document" has arrived! For weeks we've been waiting for a paper containing the official granting of guardianship (which happened verbally on July 4th). Now, travel plans - airline tickets, hotel reservations and packing! We are thrilled! It looks like we be gone for just over a week during the 2nd or 3rd week of August. Doing a happy dance.....

We originally began this blog in January 2008 after we received our referral paperwork to adopt a sibling group of three boys from an orphanage in Pune, India. We travelled to India in August 2008 to pick up our family - brothers Sam, Charlie and Owen (now ages 5, 5 and 3). We love these boys so much, we can't imagine our life without them! As of tomorrow (8/21/09), we will have been a family for exactly one year so the new blog name seems more appropriate. Stay tuned for more adventures!
