Progress!

We have some great progress in our adoption case! Last week the ISCW Committee met and approved our case! This is a local level approval; don't ask me why this happens after CARA (federal) approval. Apparently it involved a lawyer and someone from the orphanage trekking out to the village where the boys originally came from to get a document from the "village head." Naturally we asked for additional information (which village?) but were told we likely won't learn anything else until after we walk away with the boys (and their paperwork); even then, informtion is often blacked out. Now we wait for the "guardianship hearing;" things are looking good for travel in July!
